Job Summary

Americo is looking for a Licensing and Contracting Specialist join our team! The Licensing and Contracting Specialist is responsible for the full cycle of Agent Contracting in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate guidelines. This position requires the ability to be able to prioritize, make independent decisions and produce high volumes of work while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in order to meet department Service Level Agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete thorough review of agent contracting including background investigations and entry of data into source systems
• Review, make decisions, and take appropriate actions to onboard agents
• Process state appointments and terminations according to state and corporate guidelines
• Process maintenance requests including EO, Producer Errors, AML, and continuing education to insure agents are compliant with state and corporate guidelines
• Daily communication with agents, IMOs, and internal customers

• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to prioritize work to ensure timely completion of all tasks
• Independent problem-solving abilities
• Desire and ability to take ownership of work
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Typing speed of at least 40 wpm
